ZOTERO

Zotero is the new platform that students will use this year for gathering, storing, and sharing their research.

ETSU IRB

The Institutional Review Board provides the necessary forms and explains the proper procedures for conducting ethical research. Students MUST receive IRB approval to use certain types of research methods for thesis or project research. Additionally, the IRB is the starting place for taking the online CITI certification course, which also is required before a student is eligible for IRB approval for any research.

Purdue OWL

Purdue University's Online Writing Lab offers tips for general academic writing not covered on this site. It also offers basic guidance on using Turabian, MLA, Chicago, or APA style and citation.

Sherrod Library

The ETSU Sherrod Library site provides access to their online catalog, OneSearch, and a number of databases containing abstract and full-text articles. Students may also access interlibrary loan services here.

Archives of Appalachia

The Archives of Appalachia include the records of some area institutions and the papers and collections of community members, and students can search finding aids for the collections held in the Archives through their site. ETSU records and archives are housed here as well. The Archives has recently digitized images from several collections, which are also available via the link above.
